Visual Piano is a browser-based Chrome extension that brings a realistic grand piano experience to your screen. It offers authentic piano sound with dynamic reverb, 3D mechanics visualization, and responsive pedals (sustain, sostenuto, soft) for expressive play.

It displays and plays back sheet music (MusicXML), supports MIDI file imports and MIDI keyboard use, and includes piano-learning helpers for both hands. A library of classical pieces and a 3D visualization of sheet music enhance practice, with some advanced features available in the Professional Edition via a one-time in-app purchase.

I bought this, but it won’t let you import unless you pay $10 more. Not worth it from what I’ve seen so far. Disappointed. I’ll go with SeeMusic.

The 3-D version makes it realistic. I can imagine a concert pianist sitting at the keyboard.
