You have to tap the greyed out icons under your ship to activate the various systems. While active, they drain your energy bar. So you have to balance what systems are active at any moment. Also crucial is targeting the enemy systems tactically in order to win the battle.

There is literally no tutorial or a help menu, no settings, no controls that work, apparently it’s a game that wasn’t quite ready for release? Or am I missing something?
