Tornado Vision

Tornado Vision uses augmented reality to visualize severe weather as you point your phone at a storm within 400 miles. It shows tornado and hail probability and size, wind, and whether you’re in a tornado or severe thunderstorm warning, directly on screen. Four specialty camera filters help reveal tornadoes in rain, and night mode uncovers hidden night tornadoes.

Access storm data like rotation, maximum hail size, and lightning rate, plus environmental metrics such as storm-relative helicity, CAPE, and bulk wind.
