Radio Maria Tanzania

Radio Maria Tanzania is a Swahili-language Catholic radio service that began broadcasting from Songea in 1996 and now reaches much of Tanzania with a focus on liturgy, sacred music, and religious instruction.

The station organizes its content into four pillars: Liturgy and sacraments (Mass, Rosary, prayers), Church teachings, social/educational programming, and wholesome entertainment and news. It broadcasts across mainland Tanzania and the islands via multiple frequencies (about 12 in total), serving a broad listener base with informative and uplifting programming.
