Reviewers praise the core mobile functionality and some UI aspects, but repeatedly fault stability, missing website parity (sorting, English titles, notifications), intrusive ads, login issues, and an outdated UX. Pros

Core tracking features are available and usable on mobile (lists, progress, and basic tracking).
UI, search, and anime news are generally solid compared to many apps.
Good cross-platform continuity with the MyAnimeList website, making data syncing and navigation feel familiar.
For a mobile port, the app is reasonably functional and usable with most features users rely on.

Cons

Stability issues: app often crashes or won't launch, gets stuck on splash screen, and can require reinstall.
Lack of feature parity with the website: missing sorting, English titles, 18+ content visibility, release calendars/episode notifications, and more cumbersome search/navigation.
Intrusive ads and performance impact: heavy advertising slows the app and drains resources.
Login/signup issues: sign-up via Facebook can fail; Google login and verification steps often fail.
Outdated/poor UX: confusing navigation, reliance on browser links, and a dated UI not optimized for iPad.

It just lags a lot and constantly gets stuck and give me a network error when everything else I use is fine and working

App is fairly barebones. Decent when it works. Half the time the app is stuck on the logo splash screen. Lacks a lot of features and often opens in-app browser to compensate. Might as well just use the web version instead.
