User Reviews

DeadWave has a split reception. Many users praise it for spirit communication across multiple channels, a sound bank, recording of sessions, and easy customization, with some direct responses and valuable evidence. However, recurring complaints include it being described as fake or unreliable, frequent bugs (crashes, delays, mic issues), accessibility and privacy concerns, and hardware/UX gaps (earbud compatibility, no pause/record controls). Overall, success depends on user expectations and device behavior.
Pros
  • Effective spirit communication across multiple channels with a sound bank.
  • Recording sessions to save and review potential evidence.
  • Easy to use with customizable frequencies and channels.
  • Reports of direct responses and perceived meaningful connections.
  • Perceived value for money by some users (worth the price).
Cons
  • Widely perceived as fake or unreliable; many reviews say no evidence is produced.
  • Frequent technical issues include crashes, delayed playback, and microphone/gate problems.
  • Accessibility problems, notably lack of VoiceOver support.
  • Privacy concerns about data sharing and eavesdropping rumors.
  • UX/hardware drawbacks, such as earbuds not supported and missing pause/record controls.

I just downloaded it and was pretty open and hopefully. It’s just pre recorded voices and was sounds like someone walking through grass and sticks. So annoying that I wasted money. I wonder if I can get a refund. Such a waste. Don’t do it!!!

I think people need to understand that the prerecorded words are there for a reason. It's how a spirit box works. Because the words get thrown in reverse, the spirits use them to from words.
