User Reviews

Reviewers like the app for easy mobile use, strong wireless printing (Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi), portability, and a broad feature set, with many recommending it. However, recurring issues—flaky Bluetooth, template rigidity across tape sizes, a fiddly UI, and stability problems—affect the overall experience. If connectivity and template flexibility improve, the app could be a standout labeling solution for both simple and complex projects.
Pros
  • Easy to use on mobile; strong emphasis on quick, phone-based labeling.
  • Wireless printing options (Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi) for convenient labeling from a device.
  • Quick, portable solution that makes label creation fast on the go.
  • Rich feature set with many options and capabilities for diverse labeling needs.
  • Many users express overall positive sentiment and strong recommendations.
Cons
  • Bluetooth connectivity is flaky and requires frequent reconnection.
  • Templates are heavy and not easily adaptable to different tape sizes; limited customization.
  • Interface can be fiddly and non-intuitive; outdated feel makes it hard to find features.
  • Stability issues like long loads or occasional crashes; app reliability concerns.

What just happened? With the newest version of the app, 24 point fonts don’t work on .47” (12mm) tape. Older, saved labels that were 24 point are reduced to 22.1 point. New labels created will only let you build to 17 point, and if you shrink and resize them, it won’t let you restore the older, larger size. Why?

The app has lots of options for printing different label types and using different fonts, but it lacks one HUGE feature. You can’t print multiple different labels in one go. This is very wasteful of tape, and very inconvenient. The desktop app is much better and even allows import of spreadsheets. But when I just want a batch of 20 or so labels, I don’t want to drag out my laptop to do it.
