Need to have more products

Every single item I’ve scanned says “this item is not in database”. I’ve scanned many everyday food products. I don’t understand the high reviews.. they must have been written by the developers’ friends. What’s the point of this app if NOTHING scans. Ps I have a great phone, I’m very tech savvy, and I work in retail scanning products with a phone everyday so I know it’s nothing on my end.
