User Reviews

Review consensus: AeroBand's hardware concept is appealing and portable, but the app is plagued by bugs, delays, and setup/frustration. Many users report poor pairing/calibration and Bluetooth latency that hurts timing, with limited updates and some features missing. Despite the promise, most reviews say the product isn’t worth the cost until the software improves; the hardware remains the sole positive aspect.
Pros
  • Pocketdrum hardware is portable and allows quiet practice using headphones, enabling practice anywhere.
  • The overall concept of combining pocket drums with an app is appealing and has potential to be a unique learning tool.
  • The hardware itself is enjoyable for some users; sticks and drums feel satisfactory during use.
Cons
  • The app is buggy and unreliable, with frequent crashes and very slow performance.
  • Bluetooth latency between hits and sounds is common, making timing difficult.
  • Pairing and calibration are inconsistent and frustrating (multi-step setup, miscalibrations, and zones off).
  • Registration/login issues and limited ongoing updates; many reports that the product isn’t worth the cost.
  • Usability issues like left-handed support, portrait-only orientation, and missing features (saved favorites, playback controls).

This app is horrible. I was trying to get to my lesson and it just gave me a Korean label that I couldn’t read. This app does not fight glitches and should be banded for poor quality NOW.
