myPWS is a Chrome extension for weather station owners and Weather Underground contributors. It retrieves data from Weather Underground via your personal API key, letting you view the latest readings from your own Personal Weather Station (PWS) and from thousands of other stations on the Wunderground network. Use the area map to locate stations worldwide and load detailed diagrams and current readings for comparison.

Key features include extensive diagrams for current and previous day readings, the last 7 days (hourly/daily), any past day, monthly and yearly data; side-by-side comparisons of two PWS or combined data in a single chart; wind direction charts; and the ability to display two data types at once. You can cache and export data as CSV, PDF, or graphics, and share raw measurement data via email. A Weather Underground account and a registered PWS with an API key are required. Data availability depends on the Wunderground API.

I was pleasantly surprised when my Weather Underground station temperature showed up on my watch infograph and modular complications as advertised. The update does seem to be random times but in general its fine. I suspect this is more a watch issue than the app. It does update immediately if I actually hit the complication to see the underlying details and return. My only suggestion for improvement and why I took off a star is the legend page. This page should show the icon and a text description to clearly explain. I would also like to be able to reorder the detail page. The app is definitely a winner and it is really useful for me to see the temp in my backyard.

Used to be great when I could look at my watch and see the current temp from my weather station. But watch complication stopped updating last year, September 2024. I even opened a ticket in October as suggested by the support page and have not received a single update on status. Watch complication still does not ever update. If looking for auto update on the watch, might have to look elsewhere as this app is currently broken in that regard.
