Features & Capabilities

Wake Me Up lets you wake computers remotely by sending a Wake-on-LAN magic packet. It supports managing multiple devices (PC, Mac, NAS, servers) with customizable names, colors, and icons for quick access.

Features include home screen widgets, Control Center and Apple Watch integrations for fast wakeups, and Siri or Shortcuts for automation, all in a Liquid Glass design. To wake a device, ensure Wake-on-LAN is enabled in BIOS and network settings, and use the correct MAC address.

User Reviews

Overall, Wake Me Up is praised for quick setup, simple clean UI, and reliable wake-on-LAN on multiple devices. Users appreciate a free, ad-free experience and basic automation through Shortcuts. However, users repeatedly note drawbacks: it only supports a single device, lacks a widget for quick access, and has ongoing Shortcuts/app integration issues after updates. Some also want cross-device config syncing and smoother local network permission prompts. Despite these, core wake functionality remains reliable.
Pros
  • Quick setup and easy-to-use interface with a clean, no-fluff design.
  • Reliable wake-on-LAN across multiple devices/hosts.
  • Free to use with no ads.
  • Shortcuts/automation integration is a strong plus when working.
Cons
  • Only supports a single device; no multi-host management.
  • Shortcuts/app integration can break after updates; changes in how shortcuts behave.
  • Missing widgets for quick access.
  • Lack of cross-device config syncing.
  • Local network permission prompt sometimes not shown, blocking wake operations.

No funny business. Just does what it says it does. I use screenshare to control computers remotely and got tired of roasting my cpu 24/7. So I opened a port on my router and now (thanks to this app) I can wake my computers from sleep while away from home. This review should end here because that’s all you need to know. Ps: super clean interface too
