Trying to down load app but won’t send code to email to allow connection

I still find (1 1/2 years) this thermostat very difficult to operate! I have been using an ecobee for years prior which, in my opinion, was great. Much easier to use. I was extremely disappointed when my new furnace installer said the ecobee could not be used and charged me much more than the ecobee for the unfriendly Skyport Daikin thermostat.
