User reviews for AWS Events consistently complain about stability and usability. While some praise the 'Up next' feature and basic navigation to re:Invent, the app frequently crashes or freezes, makes taps unresponsive, and has slow load times. Users report weak navigation and filtering (hard to find sessions, limited venue filtering, and no view that combines reserved and favorites). Critical logistics data (shuttle hours, expo times) are hard to find or missing, and search/favorites behavior is flaky. Accessibility and platform gaps compound the frustration.

The app is often crashing or unresponsive: taps don’t register and it can freeze for long load times.
Navigation and filtering are painful: hard to find sessions, limited venue filtering, and you can’t view reserved and favorites in the same screen.
Schedule and logistics information is missing or unclear: shuttle hours, expo/monorail timings, and other details aren’t readily available (durations shown as 'all day').
Search, results, and feature gaps are unreliable: search doesn’t work well, favorites don’t show up in the calendar, and sharing a session link isn’t available.
Accessibility and platform issues: font sizes cause layout overlap or tiny text; no iPad/tablet or web version.

Recent reviews

“Up next” was helpful and calendar. Location navigation often gave an error. Wish there was more intelligent recommendations when I’ve just finished a session and looking for something else nearby that I could join (without needing manual filtering on venue, time of day, and then browsing through 66 results). There’s lots of stuff that should be easier to find such as shuttle schedules and daily menus at each of the venues (without asking chatbot for this). Also please consider next year a feature for multiple attendees for a conference to join a team to share their calendars with each other and opt in to location sharing. This would have been awesome for our team to coordinate meetups. Also I wish more info was available re dev/quest like “where do I go for the self paced training”, would have saved a lot of time.

Trying to schedule events in the app is clunky. Often swiping on multiple favorites in the same time slot would flip flop favs and reserved. Plus clicking on the calendar entry was a struggle.
