User Reviews

Reviews overwhelmingly praise BarterUnit for ease of use, the dual system of Barter Units and built-in payments, and the safety/ convenience of cashless, in-person trades. Users highlight the Trade Board and quick QR transfers as key features, with some noting the app is better for decluttering and finding items locally. A few isolated concerns include a non-working Terms of Service link on sign-up and skepticism about review authenticity, but these are not widespread. Overall, sentiment is positive and suggests strong potential for growth.

Pros

Extremely user-friendly and easy to use.
Innovative community currency (Barter Units) with built-in electronic payments.
No cash transactions; makes pickups safer and simpler.
Trade Board and QR-based P2P transfers enable fast, seamless bartering.
Free section and opportunity to earn Barter Units (BU’s) enhance value and decluttering.

Cons

Recent reviews

Obviously these reviews were written by the developer and his family. There is nothing happening on this app at all. Even if something were to happen it’s so confusing, I wouldn’t know how to know.

Downloaded the app today and ended up winning 500 BU’s in an auction. Stoked! It’s extremely user-friendly. I’m eager to begin bartering services/products with other users in my area and beyond. 🤙🏼
