User Reviews

GameGlass is praised for deep customization and immersion in Star Citizen and other sims, especially using an iPad as a MFD. Reviewers note regular updates and strong tablet support, plus responsive support. However, multiple reviews cite recurring issues: login/connection problems, lag and unreliable bindings, and a lack of polished out-of-the-box shards. Some also view the subscription model as heavy-handed. Overall, a strong concept with high potential, but execution varies due to stability, content gaps, and monetization concerns.
Pros
  • Extremely customizable interfaces and shards with easy configuration of keystrokes and macros.
  • Immersive, Star Citizen and other sims-focused experience; iPad/MFD use reduces keyboard reliance.
  • Regular feature updates and the ability to build your own interfaces/shards makes it highly customizable.
  • Solid tablet support with snappy touch controls (works well on iPad and Galaxy Tab).
  • Responsive developer support and active community resources.
Cons
  • Connection/login issues across devices, including sign-in failures and ED connection errors.
  • Lag and unreliable bindings, especially with non-official shards, with some buttons having no actions.
  • Very few polished pre-made shards; most content is early-stage (alpha) and requires user-created configurations.
  • Subscription-focused monetization with mixed opinions on value versus quality.

And immediately crashed my PC to black. Not even running other apps. And before the dev chimes in with “ChECk YoUR SySTeM…” Get bent. Runs Star Citizen on max among a variety of other apps without a hiccup. Ran this garbage twice and it crashed my PC both times.

I am running GG on an IPad connected to my Alienware laptop. I use the IPad as a MFD for several sims including MSFS, Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen. The ease of configuring the shards for custom keystrokes and macros has made the complex key maps so much easier to use and immersive. Between my HOTAS setup and GG MFDs I have made, I don’t need the keyboard anymore while in my sims. As someone who not only enjoys the sims themselves, but also “nerding out” on designing shards to function as displays for the sims, I definitely recommend it!

There has been regular addition of features since launch, and the ability to create your own interfaces makes this system infinitely customizable and extremely useful.
