This app may be wonderful and useful—the 5 star average rating would certainly suggest so—but I will never know. There is no way to preview or explore any part of the app without creating an account and paying the subscription. It seems very reasonably-priced and it’s well-reviewed, and I’d almost certainly pay the subscription fee if I could just at least see what the app is like first. Devs: if you ever add a free trial or a limited demo mode with a paywall, I’ll happily give it a second look.

This app is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to use their DSLR or other expensive camera. It helps you get away from using the e automatic setting. The lessons are laid out with a weekly homework assignment but you can work at your own pace. The first section is the technical part which helps you understand how to set the settings. The second section teaches composition. Well thought out in easy to understand bites.
