The Amazon Flex app lets you deliver with Amazon, helping to deliver smiles to customers while you earn money. It offers clear onboarding and step-by-step guidance—from signup to your first delivery—plus on-road support to keep you moving.

You can build your own schedule, seven days a week, with options to plan ahead or accept same-day offers. The start requirements include age 21+, a 4-door sedan or larger, valid ID and SSN, personal auto insurance, and a bank account. By downloading the app you agree to receive communications from Amazon, and you can adjust push notification preferences in your device settings. Actual earnings vary by location, tips, delivery time, and other factors, and you must agree to Amazon’s Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice.

User Reviews

The reviews show mixed sentiment: some see Amazon Flex as a financially helpful, flexible gig with positive experience, but the dominant consensus centers on structural drawbacks—persistently low pay, long distances and high fuel costs, poor support, frequent app glitches, and route/address issues that cause misdelivery and unfair penalties.
Pros
  • Some reviewers report the job being financially helpful and even described as the 'best job ever' for earnings potential
  • The job is viewed by some as a positive experience they enjoy and love doing
  • It offers flexible gig work through blocks, allowing scheduling opportunities for drivers
Cons
  • Pay is consistently low and has not increased with rising cost of living, described as 'slave wages' or stagnant for many years
  • Long and costly routes with high mileage and gas expenses reduce earnings
  • Support is often unhelpful or slow, with long wait times and poor accountability
  • Frequent glitches and bugs in the app disrupt delivery (navigation errors, misrouting, battery drain, distracting notifications)
  • Route/address mismatches and the possibility of false customer reports leading to negative marks and penalties

The app is good but the drivers support is really sucks they never trying to help you every time you have problems they telling you don't worry we gonna fix it but later when you see you have problems on your standing some of them don't even trying to talk with you when you telling your problems they hanging up on you I had problems with checking in I called them they said sorry to hear that we going to solve the issue but nope After that during the delivery my car broke down and I called them they said i can return the package that left with me back to the warehouse when i fix my car and i did the same thing again on my standing that i didn't complete the delivery Every time calling driver support and they not helping you at all If there was a 0 star for driver support i would give that 👎
