User Reviews

Users praise the app for easy setup, clean UI, and ability to access blocked sites in China, with generally stable performance and handy SOCKS5 support. Common drawbacks include intrusive ads, limited encryption options and protocols, occasional instability (handshake failures, disappearing VPN icon, auto‑shutdown), and requests for clipboard-based server import and broader iOS compatibility.
Pros
  • Very easy to set up with a simple, user-friendly UI.
  • Beautiful UI/UX and stable performance under load.
  • Effective for bypassing geo-restrictions (e.g., access to Google in China).
  • Supports SOCKS5 usage and straightforward operation.
  • Overall reliable and practical for everyday use.
Cons
  • Ads are intrusive, including loud sounds when connecting.
  • Limited encryption options; requests for more algorithms (e.g., chacha20-poly1305) and obfs support; only origin protocol.
  • Handshake failures occur on some servers requiring troubleshooting.
  • App can switch on but then immediately turns off or the VPN icon disappears.
  • No clipboard-based server import and potential iOS compatibility gaps.

I meant to say that this was one of the easiest proxy setup I’ve ever had to deal with I strongly recommend it and kudos to my friend Chuck, who clued us into this. We have implemented it in our system for testing and will probably add this to our Ray of services that we provide to our manage service client as well as internally. I do recommend having this set up on a separate server and not stack. However, we are doing both stacking it as well as having on a dedicated server and instance and it seems to be handling the traffic without any problems. Respectfully, User
