BTF Kids is an initiative to help pediatric patients with brain tumors better understand and meet the challenges that occur - from diagnosis to recovery.

A hospital environment can seem intimidating at first. “My Health Journey”, created by the Brain Timor Foundation, is designed to entertain as well as make your child feel more comfortable in this new environment. Play is a wonderful outlet for your child to process and learn to express fears and anxieties. “Medical Play”, like the interactivity in this game, allows children to become familiar with medical equipment and experiences in a way that provides a healthy outlet for frustration, anger and anxiety. This app can help create play patterns that could tell stories that bring out what is on a child’s mind, which will give you insights to your child’s worries, fears and concerns.
