User Reviews

Reviews praise professional, on-time drivers and the convenience of using Link On Demand to reach transit hubs, doctors, and schools. However, users repeatedly report long waits and backtracking, limited hours, and significant app reliability problems that affect scheduling and ETA accuracy. Improvements needed include expanding coverage, increasing driver availability, and fixing the app.
Pros
  • Professional, friendly, and on-time drivers.
  • Convenient and accessible for trips to transit hubs and medical appointments, including for riders with disabilities.
  • Local service coverage in Douglas County with potential expansion to more areas.
  • Safe and reliable transport for students and families.
Cons
  • Very long wait times and detours/backtracking that can make trips take an hour or more.
  • Limited service hours and availability (not available on Sundays or late at night; high demand with limited vans).
  • App reliability and scheduling issues (pre-scheduling bugs, login problems, and inaccurate ETAs/server errors).
Recent reviews
I booked an on-demand ride that originally quoted a 50-minute wait time. I arrived at my pickup spot 5 minutes early, ready to go. Right at the exact minute the van was supposed to pull up, the app suddenly tacked on an ADDITIONAL 65-minute wait time. A total of nearly two hours of waiting! When I called customer service, they casually blamed a "driver detour" and said my driver had been replaced. If your system fails or you have to replace a driver, it is YOUR responsibility to prioritize the stranded passenger, not push them to the back of a 65-minute line. To make matters worse, there wasn't a single RTD bus running from that area for the next hour. I was completely stranded by this service and forced to book an Uber, paying out-of-pocket just to get to my destination. You penalize and flag riders for missing rides, yet you take zero accountability when you completely ghost them. Completely unreliable and unacceptable management of community resources.

Honestly, Link On Demand is incredibly unreliable. They often don’t show up at your location, and even when they do, there’s a good chance they’ll drop you off somewhere other than where you actually asked to go. Some of the drivers are also unnecessarily rude, which makes an already frustrating experience even worse. Saw a guys review say that about 8 times out of 10, they don’t even have a ride available when you need one. I can confirm that is 100% accurate. At that point, it’s honestly quicker to just walk. It’s free, which is nice, but that doesn’t really matter when you can’t depend on the service to actually get you where you need to go.
