Players enjoy the freedom to build and explore, and the game is largely ad-free. However, the experience is repeatedly undermined by instability and design flaws. Reviewers report frequent glitches and crashes, trading dock/trade menus that don’t operate, and island exploration bugs that block progress. Characters getting stuck in buildings and a crowded, non-intuitive UI further harm playability. Overall, strong concept hindered by polish issues.

I have a situation on day 195 where the enemies spawning are attack buildings and hurting my guard tower guards and they can’t fight back.

The graphics are absolutely stunning, and the game play is solid. I mean, it does lack in a couple minor areas. There is no animation for guards getting on/off of the guard tower. I also get relatively attached to the little guys that guard my little city, and I’m sad that they just land in the dirt face first, and their battle buddies don’t remove them from the battle field. I dunno. It’s a great game, I play it all the time and it very quickly became one of my favorites. I’d really love to see a couple animations added, but other than that, the game is a masterpiece for $5.
