The SanDisk Ixpand Charger application automatically backs up full-resolution photos and videos to your 10W Ixpand Wireless Charger, and can back up contacts as well. After backing up, you can free up space on your phone while keeping a full-resolution copy on the charger, and you can manage those backups from the charger or restore them to your phone.

It supports multiple backup profiles so your family can share the charger. The charger is a Qi-certified 10W fast wireless charger with safety features like temperature control, foreign object detection, and adaptive charging. It charges phones with most cases up to 3 mm thick. Note: The app requires an Ixpand Wireless Charger to function, and the phone will still charge if the app isn’t installed.

I bought this product thinking this would automatically store my data (mainly photos and contacts). Even though it does, the UI is horrible with limited features and it wouldn't even show the automatic backup happening. Even when I had to restore from backup, the lack of selecting which backup to restore from is very frustrating. It is not as seemless at it may seem to operate the app and the basic backup functionality. At this point it's not even backing up properly.

It only backs up my pictures a few times and then won’t back up anymore I have to delete the app and reinstall to get it to back up a few more times There is no way to delete pictures on the device I got a new phone and it set up another folder to back up the same pictures and then the drive filled up I plugged it into my computer and tried to delete the old folders and it would not let me Reset button does not truly reset the device
