The poem that spells a name
An acrostic written for the person you are giving it to, from their name, the occasion, and what you want to say. Ready to send in a minute.
Your Poem writes an acrostic: the first letters of the lines, read downwards, spell the name of the person you are giving it to.
Enter their first name and the poem arrives. Choose a background, then share it. With Premium, you can also pick the occasion, add what you want to say, mention what they love and explain how you are related.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
The poem draws on the meaning shown below the card and on the qualities traditionally associated with the name. With Premium, your message, what they love and how you are related also shape the writing.
BIRTHDAYS, KEPT
Every birthday in one place, so the date never catches you out. The app reads your address book only if you let it, and nothing ever leaves your iPhone.
THE CARD
Forty-two painted backgrounds, with more to come. You pick the one you like. The poem sits on one, and the card goes out by message, by email, or to your feed. Subscribers can sign it with their first name.
IN MESSAGES
The iMessage extension writes the card without leaving the conversation and drops it into the thread. You decide when to send.
WHAT A NAME CARRIES
Every poem travels with a note: what the name means, and the day it is celebrated in the French calendar. Name days are a European tradition, and they are worth borrowing.
WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION
One poem is free each day. Without a subscription, the app writes from the name: its origin, its meaning and the character it is said to carry. Five backgrounds are open.
THE SUBSCRIPTION
A yearly subscription removes the one-poem-a-day limit and opens regeneration, every occasion, every background, personalisation from your message, what the person loves and your relationship to them, plus a card without a byline. The price for your country is shown on the purchase screen before anything is charged.
Usage rule: Premium is intended for personal use and includes no more than 30 calls to the artificial-intelligence model per day. The name note, first draft and any automatic corrections each count as one call, so this cap does not necessarily mean 30 poems.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The poems are written by a language model. The app asks for your consent before the first one, and sends only the name, the occasion, your message and the passion you mention. Nothing else, ever.
