User Reviews

Users praise the app’s clean UI and straightforward lighting controls, but report persistent connectivity and discovery issues, frequent resets, and no HomeKit/assistant integrations. The design is praised, and updates have helped, but reliability remains the main concern for many users.
Pros
  • Clean, minimal UI with fast response to inputs.
  • Easy brightness and color temperature control over Wi‑Fi.
  • Cohesive design language and straightforward lights management.
  • Useful features and reliable performance when devices are connected.
  • Recent updates have improved connectivity and reliability.
Cons
  • Unreliable connectivity and flaky device discovery; lights often not found and require re-sync or resets.
  • Frequent disconnects and overall unreliable behavior across updates.
  • Lack of ecosystem integrations (no HomeKit, Google Home, or Alexa) and automation support.
  • Inconsistent cross‑device detection and limited organizational features (no zones).
  • Occasional regressions after updates or firmware changes that break connections.

I’ve given up on this app locating my key lights. I’ve gone back to manually turning them on and off. Nice try, I guess.

I bought the light because it has been touted as one of the better ones- which it is! However the app for controlling the setting for light (brightness and warmth) is not good. I can’t create a favorite setting for the light. some video applications require different lighting and I have to manually slide the indicator to adjust the light. Having at least three favorite buttons would make my work life less hectic. Poor app design on whoever came up with the app functions. I should be able to create favorites from the application.
