Petoneer

I’ve had it for a few days and must admit in the beginning, I was extremely cautious, having read complaints about the Internet and not working. We had no problem connecting, executing, or setting up the feeder. It was very easy, instructions were clear, except for the notification for “away” which I found at a different site. It means that you can have the camera on and watch through the camera while the cat is not eating. The camera stays on for a specified amount of time. The clarity of the camera is extremely good in the daytime, and pretty good at night. The microphone is very clear. The only thing, is I thought I had recorded a greeting for the cat when it’s for her time to eat, but I don’t hear it. I wrote to the company to find out how to do recordings and change them if need be. I’ll let you know if they responded in a timely way. Update: They responded in less than 24 hours! Answered all my questions and gave succinct, explicit instructions. Very professional! Some other advantages of the Pet Feeder are: 1) It has a clear container for the food. That way you don’t have to keep opening and closing a lid to see what the quantity is. 2) The cat’s feeding dish has low sides. Lower than her bowl that I used to feed her, which is extremely good because I found out in the reviews, it’s good for the cat because her whiskers don’t touch the sides and keep stimulating her. All the symptoms of the constant simulation while eating from my dish, my cat exhibited. 3) This is an excellent price, €86, for the Petoneer Nutri Vue Pet Feeder compared to others, especially with the built-in camera (very clear, pictures and video) and microphone. 4) Regarding the internet connection, here in Greece, the Pet Feeder automatically chose the 2.4 GHz. As I mentioned above, we had no problems at all with the set up and connection. 5) The Petoneer app is very easy to download and simple to use. 6) It has a one year warranty, which I verified through the seller in my area. 7) It had very good reviews! As a matter of fact, when I asked the distributor’s opinion between the Petoneer and another brand, he told me that they sold more of the Petoneer than the other brand. The only disadvantage, as others also mentioned, is that the USB cord is very short. Overall, the product is exactly as described. So happy that I read the reviews (especially the one from tpanayiotis) and got it!

I just want to make sure my pet is fed. I don’t need to see ads of the other products you have. Maybe make this a separate section in my profile that I can opt to see.

This was a great fountain, but they stopped manufacturing the filters for it even though it was only released 6 months ago! Now it’s useless and there is no US based support. Ridiculous.
