Overview

Features & Capabilities

You're in a room with a ticking bomb while your friends are the Experts holding a manual they can't see. You must describe the modules clearly and work quickly to defuse it before time runs out. Rounds are fast-paced, tense, and loud — a test of puzzle-solving and communication under pressure.

Features include challenging, procedurally generated bombs, a pocket party game for two or more local players, and mobile portability. Only one copy of the game is needed; Friends become Experts on their own devices and you can share the Defusal Manual via AirDrop or at bombmanual.com. This is in-person, multiplayer-only play, with Missions and Free Play modes and the option to print or view the Bomb Defusal Manual.

User Reviews

Keep Talking & Nobody Explodes is a standout co-op game for 2–4 players, praised for its tense, social puzzle-solving and strong value at $10. Players love the group‑play dynamic, quick escalation of pressure, and offline/custom play options. Common downsides include remote-play expectations not being met, restrictive mobile controls, a steep learning curve with the manual (notably Morse code), occasional bugs, and a desire for more modules and updated manuals.
Pros
  • Excellent group party game for 2–4 players; social, tense, and fun.
  • Very tense and engaging puzzle-solving that keeps players on the edge.
  • Great value for money; many reviewers say it’s worth the $10.
  • Supports offline play and custom games, providing replayability beyond the main campaign.
  • Well-ported to mobile with solid port quality.
Cons
  • Remote/group play not as advertised; everyone must own the game to play remotely.
  • Mobile controls are restrictive (fixed back button and separate wire-cut controls instead of tapping wires).
  • Steep learning curve and manual can be hard to understand (Morse code and some modules don’t align with the manual).
  • Occasional bugs and mismatches between the manual and the modules (e.g., wire-cutting bug).
  • Desire for more content: more modules/levels and updated manuals.

bro this game is now my all time favorite and I started a week ago, it’s good for 2-4 people and it’s super tense and it’s amazing. Just don’t play it in public because if you play it’s just when you say something people will stare at you but by everything else, FIRE. AMAZING. GOATED. And to devs, YOU ARE THE BEST the only thing, make a lil bit more levels like a section 8 and that’s it. AMAZING GAME. 100/10 And it’s not good if you have a broken crack that’s on the back button… still it’s fun and great.
