Curse of Aros is visually striking and appealing to fans of grind-heavy MMOs, with solid graphics/music and a small install footprint, plus non-mandatory enjoyment without paying. However, it faces persistent downsides: harsh, opaque moderation and bans, a grind-heavy and directionless progression with poor QoL, aggressive monetization and pay-to-win concerns, ongoing stability issues and slow updates, and a cumbersome trading/economy system. Overall, it shows potential for fans of the genre but is hampered by governance and technical problems.

Recent reviews

Company banned me for falling asleep. They claim I cheated because the attack button remained pressed. In the game if you touch attack, and then your hand slides across the screen, the game registers you’re still holding attack. They claim I have auto-clicked. There is 1 continuous holding, not multiple times clicks. Then they claimed I used an object on my phone, unsure how that even works. Told them I fell asleep and my hand must not have left the screen. Instead of logging me out, which they have the power to do, they immediately banned my account with probably $500+ invested. Do not trust this company with your monetary investments. I promise you, one mistake and you will lose it all. I am filing through the App Store as they refuse to communicate with me after about 2 weeks of waiting for this appeal review. CAREFUL!!!!
