Superhero Maker: Create a Hero

Build a superhero that's totally yours, then throw them into four games and see how far they get. Free to play, quick to learn, hard to put down.

Make your own superhero, then find out what they're made of.

Superhero Maker starts with a blank slate and whatever you can come up with. Pick male, female or alien, put together a costume you actually like, and hand your hero the powers they'll fight with. Save them to your Superhero HQ and build a whole lineup. There's no right way to do it, which is kind of the point.

Once your super hero is ready, you've got four games to test them in:

Flying Superheroes: climb as high as you can and grab the coins and energy boosters on the way up. Super Tap: monsters show up, you tap, they go down. Simple, and weirdly satisfying. Super Jumper: rockets everywhere. Time your jumps and get your hero to the end in one piece. Pixel Superhero: an old-school runner. Keep moving, clear the obstacles, chase a new high score.

Making a hero takes about a minute:

1. Choose male, female or alien.
2. Dress them however you want.
3. Pick their powers.
4. Save them to your HQ, then make a few more.
5. Drop one into any of the four games and go.

A few things worth knowing:

• It's free.
• Make as many superheroes as you want. There's no cap.
• Four different games, one app. Good for a short break or a long one.
• Beat your best run, screenshot it, and send it to whoever needs to see it.

That's pretty much it. Build a superhero, pick a game, see how you do. Fair warning though: "just one more run" happens a lot around here.
