The app is slow, tends to fall out of sync with the unit. Then when it works you change the temperature a couple times and the app tells you AC unit not connected! Give it 5 mins and it will reappear.

Had I known that Daikin used this app to control their mini split system, I would’ve gone with a different mini split manufacturer. This app is absolute GARBAGE and deserves zero stars. I cannot express how much I hate it. If you’re considering mini splits, look elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did.

You would assume such a major player in the HVAC community would have an app that runs flawlessly. Well they don’t. Glitchiest app I use for my smart home. When it works it will for a quick 10 seconds then loses all the handlers as soon as you change a setting. Do better Dailin. I am about ready to trash all your thermostats and demand money back because of how they mesh with the app. Just a rookie product. Get a Honeywell or eco bee thermostat. Don’t let them install a Daikin smart thermostat. Just pure junk.
