User Reviews

Reviewers consistently praise Invoy's coaching-team support, the breath-based feedback, and the non-judgmental, learns-as-you-go approach that helps users understand how their body burns fat. Many also highlight the app's ease of use, reminders, and accountability that keep them motivated and on track. On the downside, users report mixed sensor accuracy and score stability, limited ability to log foods, and a high monthly price that some feel isn’t justified by the tech. Overall, Invoy is valued for guidance and insight, with caveats about costs and reliability.
Pros
  • Coaches and support staff are knowledgeable, responsive, and provide exceptional ongoing guidance.
  • Breath test data gives real-time, actionable insights and helps users feel in control of their metabolism.
  • Non-judgmental, learning-focused approach that teaches how to choose foods without strict calorie counting.
  • User-friendly app with easy onboarding, reminders, and day-to-day usefulness.
  • Accountability and personalized plans that adapt to activities (e.g., training) and goals.
Cons
  • Breath sensor and scoring can be finicky and unstable, with readings and scores varying from day to day.
  • Coaching responsiveness is not truly real-time, and some users experience slow or limited feedback, especially across time zones.
  • Food logging is limited or difficult, with few options to log meals and not a full, detailed diary.
  • High monthly price ($40) and perceived lack of value for some, given sensor and coaching limitations.
  • Device reliability issues, such as needing multiple pods and questionable baseline explanations; some report device/setup glitches.

I have been using the Invoy program for a little over 4 months now and I have learned a lot about how MY body “burns” food. Whatever the numbers are on the device you can see a pattern form based on what you have eaten the day before. They don’t want you to track everything you eat but be conscious of your choices so that you can learn what causes your body to burn fat and what doesn’t. It isn’t an overnight fix it is a tool to learn what makes your body tick. For example. The hard fast rule for loosing weight “they” say is don’t eat after 7 or 8pm. Well I can eat my favorite airpopped popcorn however I want to make it up whatever time I want to eat it as long as I have eaten enough greens and stayed away from sugars and kept low on carbs. I believe it’s the dietary fiber that helps out in the popcorn. If I am ever going on a trip or stuck on something my amazing analyst gives great suggestions or reminders on how to stay hydrated and tells me it’s ok to eat treats because I will be getting so many steps in moving around on my vacation. It really is a great program but you have to want to learn about yourself. You have to NOT want to count calories and write down everything you eat. That said, yes, the first two weeks you need to know what you ate so you can have a baseline idea. You do need to keep that somewhere other than the app because this app is non judgmental and is not tracking your every piece of food. This is a lifetime journey program. Love it.

We got this through my husband’s company, I signed up Not expecting much and have been Blown away. the app is so easy to use, it’s quick & helpful but the support staff is what makes it so magical. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and go way above and beyond. So so impressed

You “baseline” for the first 14 days with a goal to get to a score of 4.0, but there is practically no information available to you about the score. I took two tests one day within 5 mins of each other, my score varied by more than 1.0. I am supposed to eat restricted carbs/green foods, but there is no place to log foods. The suggested food options within the app are very limited. The final straw though was the device itself, it only worked the first time once requiring me to use multiple pods each day. Today I gave up after 4 attempts…I don’t even really understand what is being “baselined” and I read all the material available.
