Glaucoma Vision Simulation

Glaucoma vision simulator is a simulator app for the iPhone and iPad designed to help understand vision loss due to Glaucoma. Health care professionals can help their patients understand these conditions using picture from the iPhone/ iPad camera and can increase severity using a slider control. This app has been prepared under the supervision of Aiko Iwase MD, Ph.D. and made available free of charge by Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The images are an approximation of what a patient might experience with progressive glaucoma disease. Individual patients’ real vision may vary. The images may not be used as a diagnosis nor substitute for consulting a physician.
