User Reviews

User reviews for ResyOS on Apple devices are dominated by reliability and update issues: frequent crashes, loading failures, and bugs after updates. Platform limitations (no Android app) and perceived high costs worsen sentiment, as does a lack of essential features (blacklist, server rotation, POS integration, floor-plan controls). Some users note positives like an easy setup, a helpful texting feature, and price advantages versus competitors, but overall feedback is largely negative with mixed support experiences. The app’s usability and stability appear to be the primary concerns driving dissatisfaction.
Pros
  • Easy setup that staff can manage easily.
  • Valued texting/chat feature used by some users.
  • Price is comparatively favorable to competitors like OpenTable.
Cons
  • Frequent stability problems: app crashes or won’t open.
  • Updates frequently introduce bugs and regressions, breaking essential features.
  • No Android app and limited cross‑platform control, with platform availability being a major drawback.
  • High price tag compared with alternatives, causing hesitation for some users.
  • Missing or incomplete features (e.g., blacklist, server rotation, POS integration, floor-plan editing) and inconsistent support.

App keeps crashing on my iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26. Please release an update — this issue has made the app unopened, unusable. Very disappointing support and outdated technology for such a major platform.

Resy is so far behind technologically it’s astonishing and pitiful. I regret signing my restaurant up with them. They don’t have any web control over their tables and no android app so if you don’t have an android, you’re out of luck. Updates on the dashboard sometimes take hours to push to customer facing modules. I really don’t understand how Amex could fail so miserably on a product like this.
