The SPINPower® Crank Connect app allows you to calibrate the SPINPower® Studio crank and SPINPower® Performance crank as well as update firmware. I have a Spinning Chrono bike and the app connected seamlessly to the crank. I hadn’t updated the firmware on my crank to the newest version which automatically and continuously calibrates the crank. It took about a minute, and the update really improved the performance of the crank and eliminated the need to perform a manual calibration. When the app is connected to the crank, it allows you to rename the crank and also displays the battery status and remaining life. Overall, the app is easy to use and is a big improvement over the previous version.
