The entire system transmits images via wifi signals (technology similar to Bluetooth). No need of Internet access or data to link .After you powered the camera, Please open your phone's WiFi list and find the wifi whose name begin with SONiX.Then connect to it and open the APP.

No longer works with newer iphones or later versions of ios

Open camera ( turn it on) look for sonic on your Wi-Fi drop down list , touch it - it will connect to camera , but it says unsecure - ( this puts me off )… then every time you turn off camera or phone You have to go to settings again, look for sonic and reconnect. Question- why is it unsecure, why won’t it stay connected after I power off. Some places are so remote- off the grid, I don’t know if I can start up sonic . This safetyeye I use it to see what my animals are doing in the trailer as they are being transported.
