However, stability and UX issues—frequent crashes and freezes, lack of review/edit options, captain-role limitations, login problems, and flow/ pacing drawbacks—dominate user feedback. Core ideas are solid and the app shows ongoing improvements (e.g., music round), but reliability must improve for a consistently positive experience.

Easy hosting and scoring for trivia nights, making the host’s job a lot simpler.
Accessibility benefits for the hearing-impaired and easier reading of questions during play.
Enables remote participation from anywhere, letting teams join from different locations.

Positive features and ongoing improvements, including the return of the music round.

Cons

Frequent bugs, crashes, and freezes that disrupt games (UI bugs, hidden submit button, white screens, lockups).
No option to go back, review, or edit answers within a round; reviewing past rounds is also not supported.
Team captain limitations: only the captain can answer and captain changes can cost points or disrupt play.
Login/connection issues that prevent logging in or submitting answers and recording results.
Flow and pacing problems: no timer, questions can disappear, and some screens lock the game.

Recent reviews

I don’t mind the concept of app based trivia, but this app has too many UI bugs. The app will hide the submit answer button and cost my team points. On numerical questions it is impossible to use backspace, any slip up renders your answer unusable. The fact that I can’t go back and see the answers to previous rounds is also frustrating. Overall, a very bad app. Would give it zero stars if I could.

They desperately need to update this so you can go back to questions within a round just like you would with pen and paper. Without that it’s a pretty useless app
