User Reviews

Sushi Bar Idle is a relaxing, nicely presented idle game with offline progression and a solid core. However, it suffers from aggressive monetization and heavy advertising, a perception that the VIP price is too high, and a lack of new content beyond about 250 levels. Some players also report crashes and lag. Overall, it’s enjoyable for casual play, but the monetization and content limitations dampen long-term appeal.
Pros
  • Relaxing and enjoyable gameplay that’s good for passing time.
  • High-quality presentation with nice visuals and a polished feel.
  • Progression continues even when you’re not actively playing (idle/offline progress).
  • Core idle loop is satisfying and engaging for many players.
Cons
  • Ad density is too high and often intrusive, with long ads that gate progress.
  • VIP subscription price (~$8/week) is viewed as overpriced and monetization-heavy.
  • Ads sometimes persist even when users purchase a no-ads option, leading to frustration.
  • Content ends around level 250 with little to no new levels or updates.
  • Occasional crashes/lag/freezing reported on devices.

Never been a confusing game and it’s free but just something about it makes it not perfect.. Not sure if it’s just me though. It’s definitely fun because it’s challenging. Easy to get to level 3 but after that it gets harder and harder making the game better. You get levels by doing little side ‘quest’ that require doing some things in the shop or with sushi but some of the shop items are free. However, they have to make money so not everything is free or in game money though lots of it is.
