User Reviews

Overall, City of Hope's app is a comprehensive, user-friendly portal that consolidates appointments, messages, lab results, and medications, with real-time updates and strong staff support. Users value the convenience and educational videos that keep them informed. Recurrent drawbacks include login issues (Face ID and passcodes), navigation glitches, post-update instability, the inability to reschedule in-app, and missing Apple Health integration. Most issues are bugs rather than core shortcomings, and the app is generally highly regarded for care coordination and reducing phone calls.
Pros
  • All-in-one portal for appointments, messages, lab results, and medications
  • Real-time updates and easy access to the care team (test results, notifications, videos)
  • High-quality, compassionate staff and patient-centered care
  • Convenience that reduces phone calls (pre-appointment check-in and quick communications)
  • User-friendly design with clear information and shareable notes
Cons
  • Login reliability issues (Face ID bug causes double scans; occasional passcode failures)
  • App navigation bugs that prevent moving to other sections (requires closing and reopening)
  • Post-update glitches and general instability
  • In-app limitation: cannot reschedule appointments, only cancel (requires a phone call)
  • Lack of Apple Health integration and other missing integrations

I really love Dr.Ivory team! She listens, she doesn’t rush through appointments and she breaks everything down to your understanding. She really focus on her patients and fights with them to be cancer free. It’s never hard to get through anyone, Lakeisha answers all your questions promptly!

The Scheduling application is terrible you only allow a person to see the next seven days but if you arrive at the hospital for all your appointments on the current day you can see no appointments so you have nothing to look at to validate the location of the services the building names or anything like that I don't know who thinks that a person arriving at the hospital automatically knows where to go when they have six appointments in a day but you guys could do a lot better
