The Hockey Fans In Training (Hockey FIT) mobile application is designed to support registered participants throughout the duration of the Hockey FIT program. The app includes a Hockey FIT team calendar to provide dates and times of Hockey FIT program sessions; a built-in pedometer to track your step progress; weekly training manuals with healthy eating and physical activity tips and resources; and competitions, which compare your teams’ step counts to other Hockey FIT teams throughout Canada. The app includes social networking to connect with your Hockey FIT teammates; post progress stories; and chat privately with your coach or other teammates. Also the Hockey Fit app supports the integration with Apple Health app as additional option for better count steps calculation
