User Reviews

Raid Manager stands out as a deep, healer-centric MMO-style mobile sim with rich gear, talents, and party-management. It offers flexible auto/manual play and strong value for a small price. Common drawbacks center on the mobile UI/controls being awkward and the learning curve being steep for newcomers, with occasional notes about localization/UI polish.
Pros
  • Deep, engaging gameplay with substantial depth and content for a mobile game, plus ongoing updates that keep it fresh.
  • Healer-focused MMO-style experience with meaningful party management and diverse roles.
  • Robust customization and progression: multiple characters, gear, talents, and upgrades.
  • Flexible controls with both auto-heal and manual micromanagement options for a casual or hands-on playstyle.
  • Great value for the price: a $2 purchase with hours of enjoyable gameplay and no mandatory IAP.
Cons
  • UI/controls are not well optimized for mobile: tiny UI elements, clunky casting, and an interface that barely fits on the screen.
  • The game can feel complex and unforgiving for newcomers due to MMO-like mechanics and depth.
  • Some players note localization and overall UI presentation could be improved (quality varies by review).

I bought this game on a whim after I saw it mentioned in relation to another MMO-style healing game. I was reluctant at first because this game wasn’t free like the other one, but I decided $2 isn’t a regrettable spend. Wow— I’m glad I took the chance! This game fills a niche I never knew I needed. As someone who plays a healing role in MMOs, it scratched that itch for running around with a virtual crew. They stand in fire. They don’t always prioritize the right targets. It’s just like a night of Mythic+ runs in WoW. As the healer, you get to help the team, repositioning them and focusing their attacks if you want, as well as keeping their health topped up. OR— you can opt in for auto mode, which I started doing, and focus on other areas (I still pre-shield before tough fights and put regen on the squishier). Then, there’s the gear management, talents, skill upgrades, and multiple characters to unlock. They all have their own skills and strengths. Your party of 5 has multiple tanks to select from, various dps roles to fill (mages, melee, archer), and you get to kit them out. The IAP isn’t necessary. It’s just for convenience if you don’t want to go through the natural unlocks of the game. I’ve ignored them, and I’m already 15+ happy hours into the game. My only “beef” with the game is that (so far as I’ve seen) there’s only the one healer. I’d like to see different healer types. I also think having something along the lines of “Party strategy” settings to guide the AI would be nice, but it’s very enjoyable the way it is now. Overall, this game is great if you love party management, light idle gaming, and some good old fashioned healing. For $2… aka half the cost of a coffee… you won’t find better. Hey dev — the world needs a sequel!!!

I’ve never written a game review before, but this game is so bad I felt compelled to warn others. Stay away from this game, it has awful controls, awful gameplay, and is beyond frustrating. Don’t let the graphics or cool premise fool you, I regret giving even a dollar to this joke of a game.
