It obviously has ads for revenue which is fine, but when you start the app after waiting the timer out and skipping the first ad, the second one appears, with no timer and an “X” button to escape that does not work its intended function to exit the ad. Engaging with the ad opens the advertised app download page in the App Store but there’s no way to get past that second ad to actually use the app. Useless.

I’m not sure how well this would work for measuring but for distance judging for shorter distances it’s pretty accurate maybe 5%~ error But it’ll make sure you select the right height you’re holding the camera from otherwise it won’t be accurate but I found it to be off on distance by about 6” over the 10’ mark and same around the 10m, and 20m marks

The app works as intended. It seems like a very straightforward design using the angle and height of the phone to measure the distance. You select the height of your phone and then point the camera at the base of the object. Basic trig tells you the distance. I measured it against a tape measure and found it accurate. If you are having issues, you may have a bad gyro on your iPhone or something.
