Introducing a completely redesigned Insteon Director for Hub 2. This new app uses bold tiles for quick access to devices and scenes, adds one-touch actions to control multiple devices from a single screen, and makes favorites as easy as tapping a single icon. The Schedules view now shows daily activity and includes sunrise offsets, so scenes can run up to four hours before or after dawn or dusk. It also adds sensor check-in to alert you when battery or communication issues arise.

Expect faster performance across the app: near-instant login and device access, faster scene creation (in many cases up to 80% quicker), and easier scheduling that lets you run multiple devices at the same time. This release supports wired devices, plug-ins, bulbs, and sensors compatible with North American Hub 2 (2245-222) via Insteon Hub service.

The functionality and layout in the app is good, but this bright yellow is jarring and hard to look at. You should’ve left the old collar scheme or introduce an option to change it because this yellow is gross.

I love all of the improvements and the system keeps getting better. I much prefer the blue panel color over the yellow. Maybe the developers can add a color chg option. Keep up the good work.

The new owners keep improving Insteon Director, adding features that were previously only available in the hub app and even new features that didn't exist befote. No more manually configuring Insteon switches you should do it all through the app and let it program the switches for you. If you have an older installation, it might make sense to reset everything and start fresh or you can contact Insteon and for a small fee have your system remotely evaluated for any problems.
