Mostly. I like the creative aspects of the game, and the less money you spend to play, the more creative you have to be to do well; as a retired/senior player, I know this from my own experience. It’s a fun game overall but the design judging is very often inconsistent; as we all know, taste is subjective. There are no categories for players varied styles and/or personal tastes, or for those who aren’t blessed with innate style. Or when a certain style decor is specified, many ignore the requirements and are judged to have better design than those who adhere to the requested criteria, but find the effort wasted. At these (or other frustrating times) times, I just shrug, smile, accept all the aforementioned as a part of the process, and enjoy the game for personal satisfaction, and fun for fun’s sake.
