WorkingHours • Time Tracker

Work Log & Timesheet Export

Features & Capabilities

WorkingHours is a cross‑platform time tracking Chrome extension that helps freelancers and teams track work hours, organize entries, and export timesheets. It supports cloud sync with your preferred storage (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, WebDAV) and lets you start, pause, or stop time via a widget, notification, or geofence, all without ads or subscriptions.

Edit entries and assign tasks or tags, export data as Excel, CSV, or PDF invoices, and analyze time and earnings with built‑in graphs. Calendar integration, Pomodoro reminders, and GPS geofencing boost productivity across desktop and mobile. A Pro version with a 7‑day trial is available for advanced features, while the core experience remains ad‑free.

User Reviews

Reviewers widely praise WorkingHours for being easy to use, reliable, and purpose-built for time tracking. It supports multi-projects, multiple clients, tagging, and helps track billable hours (with invoicing through a sister app). Fans appreciate the one-time purchase model and a clean, intuitive UI. It’s valued across platforms with strong cross-device usefulness. Reported downsides include occasional bugs (timer sync issues), geofence detection unreliability, and per-platform pricing. Overall, a solid choice for freelancers and contractors with room for reliability improvements.

Cons
  • Occasional bugs and cross-device timer sync issues (e.g., timer not stopping on one device).
  • Workplace detection/geofence feature can be erratic or unreliable.
  • Per-platform pricing rather than a single license can be off-putting or confusing.

It’s been nice as a physician to actually measure my time on site. Very useful. Only problem is sometimes Apple will automatically shut off the location access of the app so you should make certain to log in from time-to-time.

I love how it keeps track of my work hours and starts time based on location if you want.

I use this for tracking activities over time, helps me study enough and know when I’m slacking. Great app!
