Bark lets you send encrypted iPhone push notifications via HTTP API. It supports custom icons, notification grouping, custom ringtones, continuous alerts, and critical alerts, while preserving privacy. The core push uses iOS system services to avoid battery drain, and notification history is stored only on-device.

Bark can be self-hosted on Docker, Serverless, or Cloudflare Worker via the bark-server. The project is open-source and built with GitHub Actions to ensure integrity. End-to-end encryption with a custom key protects content in transit, and the on-device NotificationServiceExtension safeguards local history.
