Really want to love this app, but not working with iPad camera, check privacy and doesn’t even show up

When trying to scan a barcode, the camera of my iPad does not turn on. It seems that the app does not have access to the iPad camera, but I can’t find anyway of turning it on. The same thing happens when trying to place an object for AR.
