User Reviews

Reviewers praise Seven - Deadly Revelation for its engaging, twisty story, memorable characters, and texting-driven mystery, and highlight fans’ loyalty to the developer. However, the hacking mini-games are repeatedly cited as disruptive and tedious, worsened by heavy ads and monetization. Technical hiccups and pacing issues also recur. Some players feel interactivity is limited, leaning toward a visual-novel feel despite a strong premise. Overall, a strong concept with notable execution issues that affect playability.
Pros
  • Engaging, twisty storyline with strong characters.
  • Texting/chat format adds depth and immersion to the mystery.
  • Consistent quality; fans appreciate the developer's other games and overall catalog.
  • Addictive, immersive mystery that pulls you in.
  • Positive note on sequels/continuations (e.g., 7 Endgame) maintaining quality.
Cons
  • Hacking mini-games are intrusive, repetitive, and slow progression.
  • Heavy ads and monetization (bits/hearts) interrupt flow and gate progress.
  • Pacing suffers due to hacks taking longer than the story.
  • Technical issues: loading failures, ads not loading, games not opening.
  • Limited interactivity; the experience often feels more like a visual novel than active, meaningful choices.

I love all things creepy! Came across one of their other games (the Sign) accidentally, then loved it so much, I went searching and I found this one and a few others. Very unique games, with lots of twists and turns! Def recommend checking them all out!

The further into the story you go, the more you have to play those stupid block games to do the hack. They make it impossible to beat them without playing ads, which sometimes don’t even open, or spending your Bits. When you run out of bits, you have to buy more. Or use up all your hearts. I’m deleting this game. Because I don’t like games that are only ad-bait or baiting you for more real money. The story was getting good, but the hacking part makes it hard to stay in the story.
