User Reviews
Pros
- Addictive, strategic gameplay that keeps you engaged over long sessions.
- A faithful Dungeon Raid homage with expanded features and charm.
- Ad-supported model that's unobtrusive, with a straightforward option to remove ads.
- Strong potential for long-term play, with many players noting they'd keep playing for years.
Cons
- Steep early‑game progression and balance; waves spike in difficulty and rewards lag behind.
- Blueprint/progress saving issues; blueprints can disappear or not be saved until later waves.
- Monetization feel of being nudged toward paying; some players describe the game as rigged or pay-to-win.
- Input detection bugs that intermittently interrupt a chain and hinder gameplay.

So I made it to wave 10 and retired. These runs take a long time, yet I got no blueprints unlocked and barely any rewards. Instead I get a bunch of new, strong enemies now and nothing to show for it.
Shouldn’t I feel like I’m getting stronger? I’m now losing on earlier waves as the difficulty spiked. It’s expected to become harder as you progress through waves, but the early game is just not manageable anymore.
Some suggestions:
* decrease the rate of unlocking enemies
* stronger enemies shouldn’t spawn until some # waves pass
* increase stats that carry over based on what I manage to unlock during the run
* decrease tentacle cost or increase rewards

The game is fun, but definitely rigged. Enemies show hardly ever near swords so they are giving you damage while you’re trying to match 3 or more to be able to attack them. If you attack them without swords, if you just swipe on them, they stick around for a couple rounds, all the while hitting you with more damage while you hit them with hardly any. The game is rigged and they want money for this. No thanks. Thankfully the base game is free. I would never pay money for the computer to beat me in just a in few minutes. Make it to where you at least have a chance and then I might pay for it. As it stands, Dungeon Raid is still the king of these games, but sadly that developer abandoned his chefs kiss of a game. Seems to be the standard of all these iOS apps and games, developers abandoning their apps and games. This is the main reason why I don’t purchase apps and games, because they take your money then abandon their apps and games and leave you with an app you can’t play because Apple updated their software to where you can’t continue using them. So they are both the enemy.
