User Reviews

Rush Rover is a well-regarded solo-developed roguelite twin-stick shooter praised for addictive gameplay, vast item variety, and retro visuals, complemented by solid mobile controls. Repeated concerns include pervasive ads, the inability to pause or easily save progress, and a desire for true manual aiming or an extra control stick.
Pros
  • Addictive roguelite/bullet-hell gameplay that keeps players engaged.
  • Huge variety of items, weapons, and upgrade combinations providing deep replay value.
  • Striking retro pixel visuals and catchy 8-bit soundtrack.
  • Solid on-screen controls that work well for a mobile twin-stick shooter.
  • Impressive for a solo-developed title with polished, thoughtful design.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads that disrupt gameplay, including in versions that were paid for.
  • No easy pause feature or clear system to save/continue a run mid-session.
  • Lack of true manual aiming or a second twin-stick control option (reliance on auto-aim/auto-lock) which limits aiming flexibility.

One of the best dual sticks (even with the auto-aim) I’ve ever played. An absolute gem. Would love to see proper iPad Pro support and a way to contact the developer. Can’t find any contact info anywhere. ——— Dropped the review to one star due to the disgusting advertisements added to the gameplay. Shameful doing this to paid customers.

Great game the only thing I see wrong with it is it’s too short
