User Reviews

Users praise Everspruce for its intuitive interface, strong search, and good organization across homes and storage, helping prevent duplicate purchases and speed up locating items. However, recurring downsides include a costly subscription model, lack of family sharing, and perceived inconsistencies in customer support. Some reviews describe a paywall feel after updates. Overall, the app is highly valued for organization but is seen as expensive and less usable for shared households.
Pros
  • Intuitive, easy-to-use interface that makes cataloging items straightforward.
  • Powerful search that lets you locate items quickly across multiple locations (home, storage, vacation home).
  • Strong organizational capabilities and tagging help prevent duplicate purchases and keep everything in order.
  • Photo attachments and export options aid documentation and sharing of information with others.
  • Responsive customer support and helpful tutorials that assist new users.
Cons
  • Subscription pricing is a major drawback for many users, with concerns about high ongoing costs and a sense of bait-and-switch.
  • Lack of family sharing or multi-user access makes collaboration difficult for households or shared spaces.
  • No one-time purchase option; users feel pressured to maintain an ongoing subscription to access core features.
  • Reports of inconsistent or slow customer service from the developer, leading to frustration for some users.

Max number per item is 100. Emailed the developer more than 2 years ago. Still no update. Such a simple update. Makes me think this is an abandoned app. Searching for alternatives.

We’ve used Everspruce to keep a detailed record of what we have in a storage unit and in our basement, what’s in each bin/box, as well as what we have in closets/dressers/etc. in a vacation home. It’s easy to keep updated, sort, categorize, and search!
