Nomination Whist

Nomination Whist (Nommy) brings a classic English trick-taking experience to your browser. Play sixteen hands with varying card counts (7 down to 1, then back up to 7), including 7 No Trumps, 7 No Tricks, and a normal 7 hand. Bid (nominate) the number of tricks you will win; the highest bid selects the trump suit. The eldest hand leads the first trick, and the winner of each trick leads the next. The deal rotates clockwise every hand.

Scoring is built to reward accurate bidding and bold plays: making your bid earns 10 points plus the number of tricks won; bidding fewer tricks than you take yields 1 point per trick won; bidding more tricks than you take deducts five points for the first overtrick and one additional point for each extra overtrick.
